What can you do with GCash?

If you’re not a Globe subscriber, fret not. You can still use your GCash to buy online and in-store shopping with your own mobile wallet at partner establishments. You can also send money directly to each other—no bank account or card required! And if you do have a Globe subscription, you can choose to top up your balance with GCash, further expanding your access to digital payments. How to send money with the GCash app

Once you've got a GCash MasterCard in hand, sending money to someone is as easy as 1-2-3. Here's how: 1. Sign in to your account on desktop or mobile. 2. On your dashboard page, click Send at the upper right corner of your screen or just enter send amount in ₱ (you can also attach an attachment when you transfer funds with extra fees) 3. Enter recipient name, contact number and bank account detail 4. Once done, just confirm your request through BPI Savings Bank ATM Verification Code/Your BPI ATM Personal Pin (for first-time users only). Once the request is verified, GCash will credit money into the recipient's bank account instantly! You can send up to ₱50,000 per day for now via the GCash Send service. If you need more than that, use any branch of BDO or BPI and have them do fund transfers from their accounts to recipients' accounts via GCash Transfer Service for free.

How to receive money with the GCash app

If you want to receive money in your mobile wallet, simply use your Gmail or TFC email address as your mobile number. This way, all transfers can be sent to you directly, without having to first deposit it in a bank account. If you don’t have an email account, create one at no cost here. You can also add a secondary mobile number as well if there are people who would send money to your non-Gmail/TFC account. This way, both accounts will have access to how to send or transfer money into it. Once you’ve added your mobile number, tap on My Account then tap Add Account. Then select Email Address, enter your Gmail or TFC address and then confirm by entering your password. Once confirmed, that email address is now linked to that specific mobile phone number. To see which emails are linked to which phone numbers, just go back to My Account and click on Linked Accounts. There you can see what phones are connected with what emails—and even unlink them if necessary!
